Base Coats
You will complete your perfect cabinet by finishing off with the perfect glaze, stain, or vinyl base coat. Glazes will slightly darken the wood and leave a lasting color in the edges of your cabinet. Stains will darken the entire wood, bringing out the grains. And Vinyl Base Coats color the wood to the exact color you desire. Colors that are commonly seen are reds, whites, and blacks, giving it a painted effect. Acrylic Conversion Coating Your custom cabinetry is given an exquisite balance of clarity and compliance as we complete your project using our acrylic conversion coating. This coating leaves a clear finish making the wood very durable and prevents any yellowing. Your cabinetry is also protected from any damaging rays because of the UV absorbers in the clear finish. It gives the wood a resistance to moisture, chemicals in your home, and hot or cold temperatures. This coating meets all the requirements of the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers (KCMA) and it is also free of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPS). To top off the benefits of the Acrylic Conversion Coating, it also comes in a variety of gloss levels so you are able to pick the shine that best fits you and your preference.
